Job Description:
IT-BI Consultant Microsoft (Senior)
- Be a core technical member of the team working with an Enterprise Data Warehouse (on-premise and in the Azure cloud) Power BI as a front-end
- Closely work together with the business departments of Vattenfall as well as with teams like SAP ERP and SLT
- Will add significant value to projects and change requests implementing Microsoft BI solutions
- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
- Design and build ETL processes in Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS and SQL) and Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Delta Lake, Synapse or Snowflake and Power BI Premium Capacity
- Be able to make a solid time and effort estimation
- Identify data in source systems and map data to the Microsoft environment
- Pin-point data quality gaps and develop a plan to close those gaps
- Support in creating functional design and create technical specification
- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems
- Prepare and perform go-live activities and create application documentation
- Hand over deliveries and maintain close contact with the maintenance team
- Be curious and hungry to take on new things and work in an agile way of working
- Collaborate closely with source system teams like SAP ERP and SLT.
- Actively find solutions to issues that might appear
