Description
Inspire People have extensive contract opportunities for Oracle Developers with experience in Oracle version 10g onwards and hands on SQL experience, basic UNIX knowledge. JIRA is desirable and experience in tools such as TOAD, SQL Developer, Putty, Tortoise SVN, Oracle Reports builder is mandatory. These roles are remotely based (you must be a UK resident) with occasional travel to client sites in London, Manchester, Birmingham, or Glasgow. 12-month duration paying circa £500 Outside IR35.
Candidates for the Oracle Developer positions must have the following skills:
* Oracle version 10g onwards
* SQL Knowledge - Good hands-on experience in creating packages, procedure, functions, triggers, collections, Scheduler jobs, External tables, UTL_FILE, complex and advanced SQL queries. Performance tuning.
* Unix knowledge - Basic script writing, executing a procedure, handling file transfer related commands.
* Tools: TOAD, SQL Developer, Putty, Tortoise SVN, Oracle Reports builder.
* Experience of working in Agile environment.
* Good analytical skills.
Preferable Skills for Oracle Developers include:
* JIRA experience
* BNFS domain experience
* Experience of working with peers from other teams
* Good interpersonal skills
* Excellent presentation, written and verbal communications skills.
* QA and change management procedures.
