Work as the UX/UI lead designer on innovative web-based solutions for the automotive industry. Contributing to a high-energy team and assisting other team members working to develop ground-breaking and exciting products for the automotive sector, focused on customer service and garage management.
Responsibilities:
- Capture and document requirements and specifications for products and the UX on all devices (mobile and desktop)
- Ensure product designs are highly usable, conform to branding standards and are documented for fast and efficient implementation by the software team
- Lead all creative work relating to company products, and take ownership of the quality and deliverable of UX/UI work
- Liaise with internal and external people, including customers to discuss and refine UX
- UX to cover product flow, UX architecture, UX guidelines, storyboards, best in breed look and feel, suitable and fit for use, applicable to relevant devices
- Manage creation of product concepts and mock ups (wireframes), prototypes
- Act as a key member of the UX council setting UX/UI governance
- Review all UI web pages, wireframes, and graphics artwork produced by other team members (UI and Artwork teams)
- Identify opportunities to improve products and processes
- Ability to collect metrics and measures and analyse them to produce objective based UI improvements
Knowledge of:
- Building consumer grade applications
- Strong experience with Consumer-focused environment
- Experience with cross sell and upsell in the digital space
- Ideally working in a start-up and corporate
Essential Skills:
- Experience as a UX architect (2 years)
- Excellent documentation skills (MS Word, flow charts, wire frames)
- Knowledge and experience of the principle of good UX
- Expert Knowledge of web development skills (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) for desktop and mobile
- MVC design model
- Basic graphics development skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- A/B, and usability testing
- Conduct UX research and analysis on an ongoing basis
- Create and maintain user personas (through ongoing research)
- Define and refine the information architecture/hierarchy of the product
- Design and refine user flows and wireframes
- Create and refine prototypes
- On an ongoing basis, conduct user testing, collate and analyse feedback
- Create and refine visual designs
- Work with Dev team (UI, Front End, PO, QA) to ensure the output meets UX principles, flow and designs
Desirable Skills
- Microsoft development stack
- Ability to program HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- C# programming
- iOS and Android experience/programming skills
