Futureheads are supporting an early stage start-up in the fashion industry who are looking to hire a machine learning engineer to help them with a custom project. The business are progressing rapidly, with this piece of work being vital in their plans to scale.
Working closely with the founders we are looking for an experienced ML engineer who has some data science knowledge and can help to start creating their AI capability from the ground up. We are looking for someone who is practical, hands on and iterative, and can be comfortable to advise on the direction needed for each stage of growth.
The first phase of this contract will need you to understand more about the vision and needs, understand the data in place and share recommendations on the best AI/ML needed to establish their recommendations based on a customers profile.
There are various phases we expect to satisfy through the build process so whilst this is an initial 3 month contract, we are keen to find a long term partner for the business as this moves forward.
To be considered for this role you will need to display:
- Strong experience in implementing AI/ML algorithms and services.
- How to work with various data sets and utilising it into relevant AI implementations.
- Implementing AI services that are scalable, usable by other services and customisable.
- Know various AI cloud services provided by Google or AWS.
- How to work in an iterative manner and being able to deliver in increments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Solid programming experience (Python preferred).
