Learning Technology Consultant - Contract - 6 months - London - (Remote initially).
My client, a leading London university, is looking for a Learning technologist for a 6 - 12 month contract. The post holder will support the design of modules and programmes by planning, designing and developing high quality learning content, assessment and educational experiences in collaboration with academic and teaching staff. The post holder must have sufficient STEM knowledge/background combined with technical and learning design skills in order to produce high quality STEM-focused content and experiences. The post holder will be able to provide expert advice to staff on best practice methodology in the use of digital content and learning technology solutions and will collaborate with academic and teaching staff and other stakeholders to design and develop online/blended experiences that enhance teaching and assessment and the student learning experience.
You will be required to: scope and design digital STEM-specific content and assessments that use external platforms and/or the established VLE and ancillary technologies.
Ideally Experience of working with STEM content in at least two of the following areas:
*Learning design
*Production of assets (eg interactivities, video, web applications)
*Development of tools or applications
*Learning technologies (eg VLEs/online learning platforms, lecture recording systems, online assessment/marking systems, specialist teaching tools for specific skills such as mathematics, statistics, programming)
