Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Flexible, mix of WFH & at the office in Chelmsford, Essex
Type: Contract
Term: 3-6 months with potential for extension/convert to perm
Rate: £450 -£550 per day
IR35: Outside
Our client provides document management software to public & private sector healthcare. Due to rapid growth they require a confident and experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with coding ability to scale & develop their DevOps & Automation processes whilst supporting the DevOps team in the implementation of projects and resolution of issues. You must have strong deployment, automation and development skills as well as the ability to impart knowledge, advise senior stakeholders and implement best practice in an agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Contributing to outstanding workload, supporting the SRE (DevOps) team with issue resolution
- Projects - Deployment, setting up replicated environments etc.
- Developing the DevOps process to instigate and improve automation
- Set up the automation process to provide CI/CD pipelines
- Some coding, Nodejs, MongoDB, Docker etc.
Skillset:
- Docker (Swarm) experience
- NodeJS
- MongoDB
- Linux (Debian based)
- Basic networking skills (DNS, VLAN,VXLAN, VRF)
- AWS
