Description
Harvey Nash's client is recruiting for a DevOps Engineer on an initial 6 month contract. We are looking for an experienced automation/container engineering specialist who is familiar with end to end design, implementation and testing, with proven experience in delivery.
Essential skills:
- Experience of Windows (Linux experience a bonus) based deliveries.
- Strong capability with containerisation tools (Docker) and automation configuration management tools, eg Puppet/Ansible, and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Able to contribute to the design of CI/CD approaches to infrastructure and application deployment and management, and their implementation.
- Experience with delivering monitoring and orchestration solutions for containerised deployments.
- Experience of BitBucket
- Strong coding/Scripting skills
- Good understanding of security standards and best practice
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- AWS and Terraform experience
