Firmware Developer - Immediate Start - Leuven/Remote

My client in Leuven who are working on the development of next-gen solid-state laser-based sensors for autonomous vehicles.

Responsible for:
-Porting existing algorithms to an embedded platform.
-Optimizing resource usage and execution speed.
-Profiling and debugging of code.

Requirements:
-work on-site (Leuven) 100% for the first 3-4 weeks, at least 60% on-site afterwards
-at least 3 years of relevant experience.
-knowledge of programming techniques and algorithms for parallel architectures.
-experience with programming (Automotive-Grade) SoCs (NXP, TI, Xilinx, Altera…).
-experience in writing clean and efficient C programs.
-experience in writing optimal code for ARMv8 with SIMD/NEON extension or low-level DSP or GPU architectures using OpenCL, OpenVX, CUDA,…
-experience with version control systems (e.g. subversion, Git).
-strong mathematical fundamentals, including linear algebra and numerical methods.
-experience with image processing is a strong plus.
