PostgreSQL Database Administrator DBA
Our client, a global supplier for IT services, requires an experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator DBA to join their team in their clients' office. You can work remotely until Covid abates.
This is a 6 month temporary contract, to start on 26th of July.
The right candidate should minimum 3 years' experience working as a Database Developer working with PostgreSQL.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Database Developer working with PostgreSQL
- Expert Level SQL, PL/pgSQL, including stored procedures, functions, triggers and views
- Knowledge of JSON and PostgreSQL support for JSON
- Ability to efficiently write database code without compromising data quality, privacy or security
- Knowledge of database design principles, query optimisation, index management, integrity checks, statistics and isolation levels
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to evaluate alternative solutions and/or workarounds
- Team skills
