Robert Walters has partnered with market leading energy firm Shell Energy to recruit a hands-on, experienced Salesforce Administrator (Cloud marketing experience) based in Coventry. This is a contract opportunity (inside IR35) for an initial 6 months with possibilities to extend beyond that. The role will be remote due to covid post pandemic we do expect you in the office at least 1-2 days a week.
Shell Energy Retail is embarking on a CRM transformation with Salesforce at the heart. We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist to come onboard and help us build a industry leading marketing capability for our customers.
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist/Salesforce Admin will work within the Digital Platform team to help shape and maintain our Marketing capability, and play a key role in the transformation and growth of Shell Energy.
Your part in the team
- Serve as the Functional Lead for the Shell Energy Retail Marketing Cloud Instance
- Defining and implementing best practice standards and guidelines for the Marketing Cloud instance
- Work closely with our inhouse Salesforce team to ensure a single view of the customer across multiple products/platforms.
- Ownership of the SF Connector
- Assist in training of marketing users, and growing capability across the organization
Skills Required:
- Experience with AMPscript and SQL
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements across the Shell Energy technical landscape.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Salesforce Admin certifications - preferred
- Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certified - preferred
- Marketing Cloud Consultant certification - preferred
Strong understanding of the platform with hands on experience of;
- Email Studio
- Mobile Studio
- Journey Builder
- Audience Builder
- Interaction Studio
- Social Studio (Desirable)
- Strong understanding of Salesforce functionality, experience working with the Sales Cloud - preferred
- Strong data management abilities
- A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
- A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
- Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment - preferred
