Job Title: Data Architect - Azure
Location: Fully Remote
Salary/Rate: £635 Per Day (inside IR35)
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 3 months
If you are a Data Architect looking for an exciting new contract opportunity, we have a great role for you. One of our UK Consultancy clients are looking for a Data Architect to join their team.
* Experience on the Azure platform (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, etc) is essential .
* Knowledge and experience of data/information technologies and products including Azure, Azure data factory/integration, SQL, data warehouse, data marts, data processing/ETL
* Create data & information roadmaps aligned to an agreed data life cycle
* Produce and publish guidelines, principles, standards and architectures (reference, conceptual, logical and physical) for data in Azure platform
* Partner with colleagues to develop our data platforms and data & information architectures that support storage, integration and processing of large amounts of data for business intelligence, publishing data to corporate systems and analytics
* Work with other architects to drive the definition/delivery of the data architecture
* Work with external vendors and solution architects to shape and review data and information architecture design and modelling
* Experience of relevant technologies and services - Azure (SQL, data lake, data warehouse), Oracle
* Experience as a data architect/analyst, 5+ years
* Experience working as a data architect/analyst in large engagements
* Experience of implementing a corporate wide data strategy and architecture
* Hands-on experience of conceptual, logical, physical Datamodelling of large-scale systems (good to have)
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
