Description
Our public sector client requires Test Automation Engineers/SDETs to join a 6 month project to ensure industry best practice in test automation. This government programme will provide security clearance (SC) and a project working to deliverables and deemed as outside IR35.
We require will require you to work within a small Agile team alongside Automation Test Engineers, Developers and Business Analysts.
You will be required to take part in Agile ceremonies, evaluate test coverage and automate test scripts using the existing C#, Specflow, Selenium framework.
The essential skills required are:
- Experience maintaining automation frameworks using C#/SpecFlow/Selenium Webdriver/Nuget for MS Dynamics 365
- Use of development design patterns within test automation (more than just Page Object frameworks designs)
- An understanding of core REST API testing concepts such as HTTP methods, headers, and status/response codes
- Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira and Confluence
- Experience of performing exploratory testing on complex systems
