Description
Ruby On Rails Developer is required by Logic Engagements to work for our client a well-established software provider based near Newcastle.
The scope of the role will be to:
- Design, develop, support and maintain our clients SaaS web application and the architecture that surrounds it.
- Write clean, maintainable and efficient code.
- Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring and code standards).
- Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into the system.
In order to be successful for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following experience:
- Commercial experience with the Ruby on Rails framework
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Experience with Unit testing/Integration testing,
- Relational database experience
- An understanding of Front End technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
