Position: Scala Developer/Consultant
Location: Across UK & Europe
Duration: 1 Year Contract
Job Description:
- Primary development language is Scala 6 to 8 years of experience
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and technical curiosity are essential
- Good understanding of core computer science concepts and code optimization techniques
- Experience working with a variety of SQL and no-SQL datastores is helpful
- For the UI roles, experience working with a libraries such as Angular, React or Electron is helpful
- For the SDLC role, experience in user tools, Git, build systems, and compilers is helpful but not at all required.
- Prior experience in the financial/leasing industry and comfort working with large enterprise Legacy systems and digital modernization is beneficial.
- Understanding that testing and documentation is critical to delivering high quality solutions
- Excellent communication and team player skills
