Description
Python Technical Lead - Pandas/Microservices sought by leading investment management company based in the city of London.
*Inside IR35*
This is a senior technical hands-on role, and you will be expected to provide technical guidance to the development team (UK and India) and contribute to overall system design.
You will also work closely with the Programme Director and Technical Lead to input into road map and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on development
- Provide technical guidance to the Development team (UK, India)
- Provide input into project timelines, estimation and roadmap
- Ensure timely completion of work packages in line with project deadline and schedule
- Supporting the overall delivery of the projects
Experience and Qualifications Required
Essential Skills and Experience
- Strong mathematical ability
- Python Application Development (including Pandas)
- Demonstrable ability to design and deliver complex system at scale
- Sound understanding of object-oriented design principles
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of Equities/FI/MA
- Micro-service development
- Understanding of the trade life cycle
- Exposure to Angular and Oracle
- Experience of cloud technologies (CloudFoundry, AWS, Kubernetes)
