Development/Engineering Team Lead/Manager - Ruby On Rails
Remote contract opportunity - Outside of IR35
Immediate contract role with an exciting Software solutions House - Remote (must be UK based)
- Experienced development lead with at least 6+ years' experience of working on Ruby on Rails applications
- Remote (must be UK based)
- Day rate: £500-£625 per day (dependant on experience)

WHO WE ARE..
We are a market leading, award winning software house who operate within the education sector. As we continue to go through an exponential period of growth, we're looking to add X2 strong Ruby on Rails developers to our existing team to assist with a particular tight project deadline.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING
You'll be responsible for leading a functional engineering team, working on Ruby on Rails applications across a number of operating systems. As an Engineering lead who derives from a strong Rails background, you'll be expected to review and improve internal processes, plan sprints, prepare reports and manage stakeholders to ensure company strategy is implemented throughout.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- A minimum 6+ years of commercial Ruby on Rails experience
- Cloud experience (Azure or AWS considered)
- Commercial exposure to Terraform
- Distributed source control management experience
- An Agile background
IT'S NICE TO HAVE
- CI/test infrastructure background
- Physical hardware deployment
