We are looking for one "TEST ANALYST GUI/API" for THE HAGUE (100% on-site, when Covid restrictions been lifted, EU-nationals ONLY) to start ASAP (Sept-Oct) an initial 220 day contract (1-year initial + 2x 1-year extensions possible, EU-agency-client).

EU nationals ONLY because you might have to undergo "EU" security vetting. We can't accept any longer UK-consultants, as long they don't have EU-CONFIDENTIAL clearance or another EU-citizenship.
- Our client is an international organisation and a great reference in any CV! English speaking environment.
- The start might be off-site because of Corona for some weeks (tbc), but then the position will be 100% on-site.
- This is a real longterm contract with possibility of extension based on performance and budget availability (initial 1-year, where additional 2x220 = 660 w/days in total are foreseen).
- EU nationals ONLY (due to the "EU" security certifications required). We can't accept any longer UK-consultants, as long they don't have EU-scurity-clearance or another EU-citizenship (after Brexit the UK-consultant can't get any longer "EU" security clearances, which is mandatory for this position).
- A Security clearance (SC) will be required for this position, if you don't have a valid SC, we will guide you. Our company is holding "FSC - Facility Security Clearance", so we are able to guide/sponsor you through the "PSC - Personal Security Clearance" procedure.
- Start date ASAP means in the September-October period (desired).
TASKS
You will support development/deployment of various projects by conducting thorough automated functional testing of new/updated GUIs and APIs for relevant applications/services running in in (Docker) containers. A significant part of the work consists of automated regression testing using RestSharp/Selenium WebDriver initiated by C# unit tests or BDD scenarios following the DevOps continuous testing principle.
- Definition of test cases and reporting of test results
- Design, code and execute automated GUI tests using Selenium WebDriver with C#unit tests written in programming languages
- Design, code and execute functional automated API tests on REST services using C# RestSharp
- Definition/execution of functional manual test scenarios and scripts which are difficult to automate
- Identification, re-testing of and reporting on defects
- Support in definition/definition of test plans
- Support to user acceptance testing activities
- The consultant will be allocated to SCRUM team consisting of developers and testers and following relevant methodology and meetings (eg Kanban, daily standups, etc.) performing above tasks/services
SKILLS
- Working knowledge of English (level: B2 or higher)
- Bachelor's degree
- More than 6 years of experience in the area of Testing and QA with focus of work in role Test Analyst
- Participation in a minimum of 3 projects requiring GUI and API testing
- Good knowledge of testing on system and acceptance test level using dynamic, static and experience-based test techniques.
- Good knowledge of how to determine suitable test approaches, compose suitable test documentation and define suitable acceptance criteria;
- Good knowledge of programming languages (eg C#/Java)
- Good knowledge of DevOps best practices, such as continuous testing, release pipelines, etc.
- Capability to persevere in retesting solutions and good knowledge on Behavior Driven Development (BDD) including programming/testing with relevant tools (eg Specflow/Cucumber)
- Good communication skills
Desirable:
- Good knowledge on programming C#/Java model classes that can be used for programmatic (de)-serialisation of API calls with libraries like RestSharp, RestAssured, etc.
