Business Intelligence Developer
6 Month Contract - Inside IR35 - Remote Working
Fruition IT are excited to be partnering with leading tech-employer in their search for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join their growing Data Engineering Team.
The role of the Business Intelligence Developer will take responsibility for developing, and implementing innovative BI solutions and ETL processes, helping to provide the business with critical data to support reporting requirements.
Working within a Microsoft SQL Server and Azure environment, the Business Intelligence Developer will interpret these requirements and work on a wide range of projects, including data visualisation, building and delivering dashboards/reporting, database modelling and systems design, all whilst working as part of a dynamic team, with a focus on creating and sharing best practices.
Business Intelligence Developer - Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a Business Intelligence Developer role, ideally in a fast-paced, agile development environment, working on data warehousing projects
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills, including T-SQL and SSIS
- Azure Data Factory (ADF) experience is essential
- Knowledge of ETL and database design
- Previous experience of unit testing, SSAS, and developing cubes
- Experience working with Visual Studio and developing in Azure
- Power BI experience would be highly advantageous
- Any exposure to Snowflake would be a benefit, but by no means essential
- A background working in a regulated industry, dealing with large datasets would be desirable
