Description
Python Engineer
McGregor Boyall has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Python Engineer to join a growing global financial services organization who lead the way in technological innovation and have their epicenter of technology based in their flagship Glasgow office.
This is initially a six month contract and has been deemed as falling Inside IR35 regulations.
You will work primarily with Python data processing, using modules like Numpy and Panda. You will also have a deep understanding of multi-process architectures and the threading limitations of Python. The environment is heavily automated using tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity and Maven.
Experience Required:
- Strong Python development experience
- Data processing using Numpy, Panda
- CI/CD exposure - Jenkins, TeamCity, Maven
- SQL databases
- Front End development experience is highly desirable - HTML5, Javascript, Angular, React
- AWS experience would also be beneficial
