C#.net Developer
We are seeking a C#.net Developer to join JP Morgan on a greenfield project in London for an initial 3 months contract with the view to extend.
As a C#.net Developer you will provide expertise for the initial design and foundational implementation of a new project. You will work with a number of the team to help to develop a new Excel-Add-in which will be used to connect clients both internally and externally to JP Morgan's suite of analytics APIs.
The analytics APIs provide Fixed Income analytics (bonds, structure products, swaps etc) which needs to be mapped into the add-in, so any familiarity with these products is beneficial.
In terms of development the responsibilities will involve full-life cycle activities including the following:
- Add-in design
- Excel UI development (working with our in-house UX team)
- Connectivity to API's using SSL
- Optimisation of asynchronous requests and responses
- Building an add-in deployment and update mechanism
- Dealing with compatibility issues - since the add-in will be deployed to a range of sites outside of the firm
