Technical Skills
Python experience
Familiarity with various database types (Relational Database knowledge (SQL), Document stores, column stores) and corresponding design considerations for each.
Familiarity with ETL processes and building frameworks around good database/datawarehouse design
Experience working with cloud based containerisation solutions ideally AWS and Docker
Ability to express opinion on sound RESTful API design. Can clearly describe RESTful Microservices architecture and HTTP methods with working experience of python for creating performant and usable APIs.
Design Patterns: Understanding of key design patterns eg MVC
Comfortable on both Windows/Linux environment.
Good working knowledge of Pandas, Numpy
Self-Starter - works with minimal supervision and can provide clear design solutions to problems
Good Troubleshooting skills. Ability to track and resolve
Good Scripting skills - Bash, Powershell or windows batch files.
DevOps best practices with respect to documentation and environment management.
Ability to produce product internal operational documentation.
