Data Engineer, Investment Bank
My client is looking for an experienced contract Data Engineer to join the team. The Data Engineer will be involved in the project o assist in the development of a new semantic data delivery system. The Data Engineer will be forming a part of a wider programme that will help in delivering a new data category management system.
Key skills:
- Azure Databricks (including Delta Lake) batch or streaming, using Kafka on Cloud
- Azure Data Factory
- Spark
- Kafka (batch or streaming using Kafka on Cloud - Azure is a distinct advantage)
- Containers and container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
- CI/CD including tools such as Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, TeamCity, Gitlabs pipelines
- Experience of building data pipelines
- Azure DevOps pipelines
- Investment Banking domain knowledge
