Application Architect/Development Manager-Outside IR35/Onsite/Remote
The successful applicant will be responsible for setting out the current capability model for the Solution Development Teams, running a process to assess the fitness for purpose of those capabilities and establishing a framework for managing technical debt. The role will collaborate closely with the Architecture Team to support the establishment of the future application architecture, and the roadmap to implementing that architecture.
Some of the key success factors for this role include:
-Technical debt is systematically identified and prioritised, with solutions identified and scheduled.
-Building on the higher level capability model for all of ITS, the more detailed capability model for Solution Development is established, along with a supporting maturity assessment and improvement roadmap.
-Creating a broad-ranging view from multiple perspectives of the Strengths/Weaknesses/Opportunities/Threats for the Solution Development Team and its capabilities, and of the application portfolio in use.
