Database Architect - Postgres - Remote - 9 Month Contract - £500-£550 per day - Outside IR35
A dynamic EdTech start up are on the lookout for a hands-on Database Architect with strong Postgres knowledge to join their forward-thinking team on a contract basis. The role will be fully remote, however applicants will need to be in the vibrant London office once a month for a collaboration day.

As the Database Architect, you will work alongside the cloud infrastructure team to plan, administer, maintain and secure PostgreSQL databases within an AWS environment.
You'll analyse database changes requested by the development teams, learning about the data and making recommendations for improvements in how it is stored and processed.
In terms of technical skills, you will need to have strong commercial PostgreSQL database architecture experience, with hands-on knowledge of AWS databases, including RDS and/or Aurora.
The daily rate for the role is up to £550 per day, and the initial contract length is up to 9 months, with extensions likely.
