My client leading ECommerce Client based in Prague is looking for a Golang PHP Developer to join their development team for a 12-month+ contract. 100% Remote open to EU/UK candidates (Outside IR35)
Key Skill and Responsibilities:
- Application development in Go (search API) and PHP (analytical and administrative tools) providing search and interfacing with other company applications
- Consistent delivery of changes and continuous improvement of the search engine
- Writing unit tests, end-to-end tests and removing existing technical debt
- Architecture design, microservice development and related monitoring
- Regular migration of existing technologies to new versions
- Write mainly unit and live test
Must-Have:
- Solid hands-on experience with PHP 7.x and/or Golang on a daily basis, with provable project experience
- Experience of full-text search, information retrieval, indexing, language models, etc. is an advantage
- Able to write readable, structured code, divided into small units, and application layout
- Code testing
- Exposure/understanding of all/some of the following: Elasticsearch, API, SQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ
- Knowledge of versioning, Linux, and how to work with Virtualization
- Fluent English (spoken & written)
