To self sufficiently, design and develop business/process enhancing solutions using preferred tools
To deliver early life support for new solutions
To support established in-house developed solutions
To add value to existing business processes/procedures by improving efficiency and effectiveness
Skills, qualifications & knowledge
Extensive experience of Business Objects Data Services development, tuning and optimization
Hands on experience of Business Objects Reporting Webi 4.2/4.3
Hands on experience of IDT design and build
Experience in a BI support role, handling day to day application and ETL maintenance and troubleshooting
Oracle experience
Extensive SQL experience
Ability to translate business requirements into technical resolutions
Key responsibility areas
Work with the business to analyse requirements, design and deliver solutions
Provide support for migration projects as and when required
Understand the business requirements and translate it into solution framework/architecture
Work with business experts and technical resources to facilitate incident & problem resolution
Ensure effective communication with business and project stakeholders
Coordinate the development of code elements and review
Obtain acceptance for all deliverables from the business
Ensure adherence to internal and external standards for all solutions
