Senior Data Architect - GCP, Cloud Migrations, Data Consultant, Remote, Contract
A Senior Data Architect is required for a leading Technology Consultancy engaged on a new GCP migration project within Financial Services. You will be delivering key technical expertise as a Senior Data Engineer/Architect with responsibility for design and implementation of client's data strategy.
You will demonstrate strong knowledge around Data Migration into the Cloud, specifically GCP, with strong hands on knowledge developing solutions into Google Cloud.
Role:
- Leading on all ETL processes, streaming data into BigQuery
- Technical Lead - Managing all data created in client applications, including reporting and incident resolution
- Provide advice and guidance into technology selection ensuring cost effectiveness
- Improve client data strategies allowing for greater performance
- Input into Architecture and higher level design
- Managing key clients ensuring they understand the benefits of the solutions
- Providing technical leadership to delivery team
Experience/Skills:
- Python/Java programming skills
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Data Engineering/Data Warehousing experience
- Dataflow, Google PubSub, Composer
- Data Migration into Google Cloud
- App Engine
- Cloud Functions
- Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine, VPCs
- Cloud Spanner, Cloud SQL and BigQuery
- Dataflow, Apache Beam
- DialogFlow, Auto ML, AI Platform
