On behalf of our client, an international financial service provider located in Prague, we are looking for an external resource with skills and abilities as stated below:
IT Business Analyst - Risk IT (f/m/x) financial area Prague - P031
Field of activity
Our client is one of the leading global market infrastructure providers.
Our client covers the full value of pre-trade, trade and post-trade, including services like trading, clearing, settlement, market data distribution and other services for a broad range of instruments.
Risk IT is part of the Risk Product and mainly serves the Risk Management department. We are at the heart of our clients market infrastructure offering and of utter importance for the stability of the global financial market.
We are challenged every day to meet latest regulatory standards, evolve our products and provide operational stability.
Your responsibilities:
- To be part of the software delivery process by:
- understanding of business concepts and requirements and translating them into clear system specifications for our existing as well as new risk system
- analytical and logical thinking to provide accurate impact analysis to find the best long-term solution
- communicating ideas clearly and act as a liaison between trading, clearing, risk experts and IT teams
- supporting the solution through the whole software development life cycle
Required qualification and skills:
- Experience in IT business/functional analysis, technical specifications
- Degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Quantitative Economics, ) or equivalent experience
- Analytical mindset and interest in information technology and financial markets
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, German would be an advantage
- Databases and SQL knowhow
Additional information:
- Start date of assignment: January 2022
- Initial contract duration: 12 months (3 months contract renewable)
- Degree of employment: Full-time
- Location: Prague
