Requirement:
· Must have experience of z/OS mainframe systems programming in a large Mainframe Shop. This is essential to the role
· Must have a very good knowledge of the storage administration with DFSMS/HMS and experience with IBM DS8xxx and IBM TS77xx equipment.
· Must have knowledge of z/OS, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL
· Must have good problem determination skills.
· Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
Responsibilities:
· Execute z/OS backup and recovery processes, data migrations, storage allocations, connections and reporting tasks
· Problem analyzation for disk- and tape problems
· Coordinate microcode changes in the storage environment area
· Configure disk- und tape components
· Process problem- and incidents tickets for storage management und perform a pro-active monitoring of the production environment.
· Implement processes and changes on request of the HSBC group
Contract length: 6 months
