Description
A Senior Frontend Developer is required by Tiro Partner's established and market leading client based in Amsterdam. As a Senior Frontend Developer you will have extensive experience in Front End web development and design using the following technologies: Javascript, Typescript, Rest APIs, React, NodeJS, HTML5, and CSS3.
The Senior Frontend Developer will be responsible for developing the Front End for high-traffic public facing web applications, architecting new features and maintaining a clean codebase
Working in an Agile setting alongside the product owner and other developers, the Senior Frontend Developer will also play a key role in deploying new versions of web applications with a focus on improving customer experience.
It will be a distinct advantage to have excellent creative flair and ability to design eye catching and highly functional websites. Basic capabilities around deployment and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift is also a big advantage.
In addition to strong Front End web development skills you will also be a first-rate communicator, with the ability to lead and mentor other teams members when required.
To summarise, the Senior Frontend Developer will ideally have strong commercial exposure in the following:
- Proven experience working with Javascript, Typescript, React, and NodeJS
- Strong knowledge and experience on REST APIs
- Excellent skills in HTML5 and CSS3
- Extensive background working in enterprise organisations building high-availability solutions
- First rate communicator with strong leadership qualities
- Experience with tools like Confluence and Jira is a bonus
- Familiarity with Agile practices and Scrum methodologies
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies like Kubernetes and Docker, and OpenShift
