Frontend React Developer
We are seeking a Frontend React Developer with strong React experience to join JP Morgan in London on an initial 6 months contract. Experience of other modern Web technologies including TypeScript, JavaScript, Redux, RxJS and experience in building reusable HTML5 components are also highly desirable.

This role is for an experienced Frontend React Developer to work on a new platform build using modern Web technologies namely React. You will be responsible for the development of new features and be accountable for the overall success of deliveries including analysis and design, development, deployment, optimization and day to day operations. You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team including UX/VD designers, business analysts, UI and server- side developers.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Understanding of architecture and design
- Design, develop, test and support enterprise applications using Front End web technologies
- Ensure adherence to architecture standards, risk management and security policies
- Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies and best practices
- Review business requirements/functional specifications requirements and provide engineering solutions
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
- Experience of full software development life cycle and agile methodologies
- You must have in-depth knowledge of modern Web technologies specifically JavaScript, React, Redux
- TypeScript, RxJS and building reusable HTML5 components are all highly desirable
- Experience in Testing/Debugging using Jest/Enzyme is highly desirable.
- Have a DevOps mind-set, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
- Knowledge in memory/CPU usage profiling, optimizing and tuning is advantageous

Once things do settle, you would then be required to come into the office 3 days per week. You would need your own PC/Laptop when working from home as these are not provided for contract roles.*
