Job Title: SC Cleared Data Engineer
Location: Remote
Salary/Rate: £800 per day Inside
Start Date: 24/01
Job Type: Contract - 6 months
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a SC Cleared Data Engineer to join their team for a six-month contract.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Recognise and share opportunities to re-use existing data flows between their teams
- Be responsible for the build of data-streaming systems
- Coordinate teams and set best practice and standards
- Apply knowledge of systems integration to their work
- Champion data engineering across government
- Identify and analyse user requirements
- Prioritise, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle
- Write well-designed, efficient code
- Review, test and debug team member's code
- Ensure our applications are secure and up to date.
- Leading a team with 5-10 team members and make it a successful sprint/delivery within the SLA.
Expertise or exposure to one of the following skill-set:
- AWS Cloud
-ETL
-Pentaho PDI (Preferred)
- Talend
- Informatica or any leading ETL tool, Spark, Big Data
