Description
Azure Solutions Architect - required for 12 months (likely to be extended) based in Farnborough (hybrid working) paying around £500 per day (Umbrella) Inside IR35
Working for a high profile Financial services organisation, this role encompasses leading the design of platform and applications across the SF1-UK landscape, translating functional and non-functional requirements into technical designs, confirming design through proof of concept, and providing technical roadmaps in line with architectural principles and budget constraints.
Experience/skills required -
- Demonstrable experience in Solution Architecture across application and infrastructure.
- Strong background in web application architecture, focused on RESTFul APIs, containerization Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- In-depth experience of working within an agile environment and agile toolchains including JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket.
- Experience leading technical teams through the application design life cycle Hands on experience with many of the below technologies and tools
Hands on experience with many of the below technologies and tools:
- Cloud Architecture (preferably Azure)
- Containerization (eg Docker).
- Linux
- Microservices patterns and practices
- Event driven architecture
- CQRS patterns
- Messaging
- Evaluate and chose appropriate technologies
- Transactional Datastores (eg Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- NoSQL Datastores (eg MongoDB, Redis).
