You can be based in either Malmo or Stockholm.

Nice to have or Open to learn - WPF, Microservices, Build and deploy, SSIS, Azure Devops Pipeline, Knowledge of Scrum
We are working for an insuring company in Sweden delivering Property and Casualty insurance hence they insure everything except life. The position is for working on their Claims management application. Being an insurance company, claims is their lifeline so as a sr. developer you will be working on a live application. It is a transaction intensive system with integrations to lot of upstream and downstream systems, including Mainframes and government systems. It is all Microsoft technology stack - WPF, WCF, SQL Server, SSIS, Azure DevOps, test automation etc. Client has a defined roadmap to move this application to cloud, and rearchitect this application using microservices etc. To break the monolithic block that is currently today. There is also a workstream that focuses on continuously reducing the technical debt from the application.
Being part of this team, you will get to work with distributed and cross-cultural team - India and Sweden. Claims domain is approx.. 50 developer strong team so you will be part of this team and contributing to overall development. You will also get to work in Agile with all the Scrum ceremonies being religiously followed by customer. We have been working on this project since last few years, so it is a long term project in which user stories are being implemented as prioritized by the business.
