- Role: Data Solutions Developer
- Location: Sheffield (possibility of remote and hybrid working)
- Salary: £450 - £550 per day (Outside IR35)
- Contract: up to 6 months with potential for further extension
A Local Authority in Sheffield, South Yorkshire is looking to take on an experienced Data Solutions Developer to join the successful Solutions team where you will be reporting to EBS Data Solutions Lead, to analyse, design and deliver all extracts, update and loading of Oracle E-business Suite (EBS) Applications.
You will liaise with all Solutions team colleagues to co-ordinate the creation of key deliverables. Creating key design documents to address data management, cleansing and key VAT input/output transaction flows, such as:
- Requisitions
- Purchase Orders
- Receipts
- Invoices
- Payments
You will provide expert advice, guidance, support to deliver consistent, high-quality documented data manipulation deliverables enable HMRC-compliant VAT solution.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage key aspects of large scale, complex and strategic projects
- Perform re-creation of cohesive subledger transactions flowing from PO-AP/AR-GL
- Monitor and track rebuild of transactions
- Creation/development of various PL/SQL scripts needed to populate open interface tables and enable perform transaction rebuild.
- Facilitating ERP requirements gathering, solution design, testing and implementation
What are they looking for?
- Working knowledge of delivering ERP solutions and services.
- Understanding of application implementation methodologies. Particularly Oracle Method/AIM and scrum.
- Working knowledge delivering finance and change aspects of ERP solutions, particularly process analysis/mapping.
- Good understanding of information technology and Oracle EBS software development techniques.
