Cloud integration consultant required to join a large European client on a long term contract.

Our client is looking for a motivated cloud integration consultant to join an advisory team which provides consulting to all (60+) European institutions around cloud architecture.
Objectives
- Bring expertise to application owners in order to define cloud account usage and cloud applications architecture
- Help the application owners with cloud costs optimisation
- Help with the selection of services offered by cloud providers
- Develop hands-on proofs of concept in Infrastructure-as-Code
- Participate in the Cloud Community of Practice (in Teams) and escalate cloud blockers to the management
Essential technical skills
- Solid experience with AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of CI/CD and Infra-as-code pipelines
- Good knowledge of at least of the following: non-relational databases, cloud security tooling, DataOps
Desirable tech skills
- AWS or Azure architecture certification preferred (associate at least)
- Experience with both Azure and AWS
- Experience with another public cloud provider
Soft skills
- Ability to work and communicate in a multi-cultural environment
- Service-oriented mind-set
- Ability to communicate in writing and verbally in a clear and concise manner
- Initiative, accuracy and attention to detail
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential. Any other European language is a plus
- Working experience in a medium to large IT environment is a plus
- 5 years of IT architecture experience
