C# Developer - FX Options Investment Bank
- Very strong C#/.NET CORE development
- Good understanding of object-oriented principles eg SOLID

- Educated to degree-level at minimum in a numerate or technical discipline

The role is for a senior developer, focused primarily on FX Options, and involves working very closely with the Trading and Quant teams. They will be developing, as part of a team, a new structured products pricing tool for Sales/Marketing with .NET CORE services and HTML5/React Front End. The candidate must have strong software development and analytical skills, and experience of working closely with Front Office users.
The systems the team develops and supports are classified as Tier 1 (business critical), which requires a very flexible approach to work. Developers are expected to respond quickly to changing trader requirements and to issues escalated from the front line support team.
Experience of developing robust and performant services in C# is essential for the role. Experience of FX options, including structured products, is preferred but applicants with experience of another asset class will be considered and are welcome to apply. The candidate must exhibit strong software engineering skills. They must be able to interact confidently with business users and quants. Analytics are developed in C++ and some reporting functionality is developed in python; a good working knowledge of one or both of these would be beneficial. Candidates will be expected to have a proven track record of delivery and a detailed knowledge of the systems they have worked on, having contributed significantly to their architecture and design.
