Darwin Recruitment are currently hiring for a Backend Developer on behalf of a business in Stockholm that is an English speaking Food company formed in 2020, currently has 62 employees across 19 nationalities looking to expand by a further 30 during 2022. This company creates ambitious food experiences, fully tailored to home delivery. They are a kitchen, full of kitchens, serving you the world under one roof in one bag putting comfort back in comfort food. They don't comprise, so you don't have to either. They want to become the most intelligent kitchen in the world. In order to do that they need to build one of the most remarkable Tech teams in the world. They are a super close team with constant communication. They expect full ownership of features, from finding problems to implementing solutions. They love being questioned and proven wrong so that they can improve, but in return expect full intellectual honesty in mistakes.What about you:
- You have 3-10 years of development experience within a Tech startup or organisation
- You have proven experience working with cloud native tech stack, i.e GCP, AWS or Azure.
- You are a seasoned backend developer, experienced in developing and deploying product grade software.
- You have good insights about common development processes and lifecycle of software products like PR, code review, continuous integration and delivery, release, etc.
- You are not only an excellent individual contributor but also willing to coach and mentor other team members in a respectful way.
- You are an expert in Node.js, Javascript and Typescript with microservice architecture and corresponding technology, like Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- You have worked cross functionally and especially in an environment where data and tech go hand in hand
- You love to work within a team and pride yourself in your communication skills
What about the role:
- You will work cross functionally with other talented developers across markets in order to deliver the best Kitchen Management System, App and Data insights
- You will also coach and mentor other junior team members, not only grow yourself but also entire team
- You will work closely with the tech team and help define the way of working, culture and values
- You will take end to end responsibility of various components, system to enable hyper growth of the business
- You will work collaboratively in order to implement new product features and trouble shoots
