Templeton and Partners are looking for a Test Lead for one of our multinational client in Oil & Gas Market.
Location: London - UK ( fully remote)
Contract: 6 to 12 months Posibility of extension
This role is for a testing lead who will join a SCRUM team of which is delivering software solutions and applications supporting trading and operations for the Power Desk. Ideally suited to someone who can work in a fast paced environment and able to solve complex business problems. It will involve leading a small team of Testers, and being accountable for assurance of the quality of front end and back end application architectures, across various applications.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Designing testing process, documentation standards and ensures proper test representation
• Ensuring test scripts reflect end-to-end processes and intended system usage
• Supporting the process of classifying issues and documenting issue resolution
• Leading test execution teams through influence
• Managing a team of testers
Essential:
• 5+ Years development experience in designing, developing and maintaining, full stack applications using .NET C#
Automation of deployments and testing (CI/CD)
Has both supported their own solutions post go-live and offloaded support to a third-party support organisation
• Knowledge and experience of full Software Development Lifecycle and working within a Scrum environment
Experience selecting and ensuring proper use of industry standard tools for accepting, managing and resolving issues identified during testing
• Experience engaging with business stakeholders to clarify system requirements and business processes and incorporating them into the testing process
Experience working closely with the business, product owners and the development and delivery team to achieve the intended common goal
Desirable:
• Familiarity with and experience of front end development utilising React framework
• Has experience of Azure Cloud native technologies (Azure Functions, Azure App Insights, Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, Azure Event Hubs)
• Uses version control and manages their code base appropriately
Experience Managing offshore or remote teams in a virtual environment
• Demonstrated ability to quickly become familiar with relevant programming languages, localisation tools and related technologies
• Experience in using risk mitigation techniques un through understanding the business problem and utilizing the techniques like automated regression testing, exploratory testing, end-to-end testing and parallel run.
