GCP Engineer - Banking
£600 p/Day PAYE
Major UK bank require a GCP Engineer in their compliance department to help them radically improve their financial crime risk systems & processes.
This will be done by rolling out a Dynamic Risk Assessment application globally.
The DRA assesses financial crime risk of a customer using a suite of advanced analytics models, designed to assess all financial crime risks for all new and existing customers across all Lines of Business, enabling a more automated approach to how well the bank knows their customers.
DRA is a GCP (Google Cloud) application, and uses an advanced Machine Learning approach.
Ideal skill set
Designing, building, testing, automating, monitoring and supporting production environment
Very good knowledge of GCP architecture/services
Linux, Bash/Shell Scripting
Network configuration (VPC, VPC-SC, VPN)
Security (IAM, AD, ADLDS, roles, service accounts, entitlements)
DEVOPS principles & automation tools (Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible)
Agile development principles (eg Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence)
Excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting experience
