Skills and Experience:
- Proven background in Back End development using Python and Django
- Proven background in Front End development using JavaScript (Ideally React.js)
- Able to use GitHub to deliver projects collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary, self-managing team
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Exposure to modern web application and cloud technologies would be beneficial (AWS, React.js, Vanilla.js)
- Knowledge of Government Digital Services (GDS) or working with public sector bodies would be a real advantage
- Candidate will be a high performing, dynamic individual who naturally enjoys working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary, self-managing team.
The Opportunity:
Our client is currently looking to bring on an experienced Full Stack Developer with a proven background in both Python and React.JS, to assist with the delivery of an enterprise scale, public sector project.
You will work within a team comprised of front/Back End developers, testers and consultants to ensure the successful maintenance and enhancement of an existing platform.
You will be required to review the existing technical and architectural documentation, identifying gaps and providing input into an architectural map of the platform.
* Security Clearance - this role requires candidates with current/recent BPSS clearance and/or the ability to pass basic security checks.*
