.Net developer -Contract role Role
London - Hybrid role initially 2/3 days a week
£625 inside IR35
Your role
Are you a master of Microsoft technologies? Are you passionate about C# .NET development, with experience in advanced customization of SharePoint, including migration to Office 365, with experience of developing integration solutions hosted using Hybrid Architecture to bridge the gap between on premise & cloud?

Your team
You'll be working in the Global Banking team. Our role is to provide technology support for the full range of Investment Banking and Corporate Finance products. We help by building large-scale content management and messaging services, leveraging SharePoint, Exchange, Azure and other Microsoft products.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- minimum of degree qualification in an appropriate subject, plus 5-8 years commercial experience (Financial Services preferred)
- solid background in Agile/Extreme programming, and a history of working in a distributed (onshore/offshore) team
- good grounding in object-oriented design principles (SOLID)
- thorough expertise in C# .NET technologies gained through formal education and hands-on development experience, including: Azure, Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint 2016; SQL Server 2019, ASP .NET, and .NET Core, up to and including version 5.0; Microsoft best-practice coding standards
- Infrastructure as code using Terraform (Or Similar)
- Proficiency building and deploying applications, using Microsoft Visual Studio and GitLab Source Control, with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- in-depth knowledge of web Front End technologies, ie HTML, CSS, JavaScript & Ajax
- proven capability writing Unit and Automated integration tests in a TDD approach
- PowerShell and Shell-Scripting know-how, including SharePoint deployment automation
