Data Lead - Data Scientists and I - Data Systems & Insights needed urgently for a project in South Africa with negotiable rates.
- 10+ years of post-academic experience developing advanced analytics and applying data science in Retail Banking environment
- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
- Retail Banking Analytics experience in
- Campaign designing and management
- Tuning the model based on the inputs & feedback by the stakeholders
- Track campaign performance and if required tune the model
- Cross Sell
- Product analytics
- Fraud analytics
- Experience in data mining techniques and methodologies (data prep/modelling, classification, regression, clustering, machine learning, ensemble approaches, text mining, social network analysis, Time Series etc.)
- Experience with Python, SAS, SQL, Hadoop & Teradata
- Strong understanding of RDBMS, Data Warehouse concepts
- Hands on with complex queries for extracting data from multiple sources systems
- Well versed with Microsoft Office Suite ie Excel, Powe Point, Word etc.
- Good communication skills
- Strong collaboration with team members for designing the optimal solution
- The ability to rapidly develop proof of concepts and test new idea.
