Python/React Developer (Software Engineer Programmer Python React Front Office Brokerage Trading AWS GCP React TypeScript Finance PostgreSQL Apache Ignite Airflow gRPC Protobuf Front Office Trading Investment Management Asset Manager) required by our asset management client in London.
You MUST have the following:
- Excellent ability as a Python Software Engineer/Developer/Programmer
- Advanced Python
- Experience within trading/the Front Office/brokerage
- React (ideally with Node and TypeScript)
- Agile
The following is DESIRABLE but not essential:
- Single page apps
- Excellent Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- PostgreSQL
- Apache Ignite and Airflow
Role:
Python/React Developer (Software Engineer Programmer Python React Front Office Brokerage Trading AWS GCP React TypeScript Finance PostgreSQL Apache Ignite Airflow gRPC Protobuf Front Office Trading Investment Management Asset Manager) required by our asset management client in London. You will be working in a Back End focussed team of six, based here in London, that are creating a trading system that allows portfolio managers to execute trades as a result of research from across the company. The application allows for reporting, order entry and modelling. In the next 6-12 months, the team aims to migrate this to a mobile app so that portfolio managers can execute trades whilst on the move.
The stack is Python, Node, TypeScript and React on AWS. AWS is only advantageous but Python, React and finance are important. PostgreSQL, Apache Ignite, Apache Airflow, gRPC and Protobuf are also advantageous.
