Solution Designer
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires a Solution Designer to be based in their client's office in London, UK.
This is a hybrid role- You can work remotely with 1-2 days based in the office per week.
This is a 6-Months temporary contract to start Aug 2022
Day rate: Competitative Market rate
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Designer, consultant and development
- Software Engineer is an individual with proven experience in adhering to software engineering best practices, delivering software products/applications generating business value. They are expected to have continuous improvement mindset, driving value-based process, product/application optimization.
Key Requirements
- Solution consultation and development in accordance with the enterprise technology principles, methods, standards, and practices.
- Estimation, solution design, detailed technical design, application technical deliverables including code, associated tests and documentation.
- Contribution to functional excellence in terms of definition and maintenance of standards, methods and tools, bringing in best practices from market standard implementations.
- Manage complex integration scenarios and interfaces between on-premise solutions, cloud and Legacy systems.
Skills & Requirement
- 8+ Years relevant software development experience broadly ranging from Front End, Back End, cloud automation and orchestration with depth in one or both of Front End and Back End development.
- Experience with end-to-end trading value chain and wholesale energy markets (ideally European Markets)
Back End Development
- 3+ Years' development experience in designing, developing, and maintaining applications using .NET Core with Azure Platform Development (Functions, Services, Storage, Data Factory)
- Proficient in one or more of Data Development (SQL Databases, No SQL, Cloud Datastores etc) technologies
- Experienced in building Real Time Event-Driven Systems and Server Side Messaging with an advanced Back End development skill set
- Experienced in building Low Latency Solutions for Trading
Front End Development
- Proficient in one or more of the Front End development technologies (React, Angular, Vue, Android- Kotlin, iOS- Swift, Flutter etc.)
- Proficient in Cloud Native Deployment with CI/CD Pipelines. [One of GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps] into serverless containers (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience in Agile teams applying the best architectural, design, unit testing patterns & practices with an eye for code quality and standards.
Educational Qualification
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MCA/MSc. Comp. Science
