My client in the telephony industry are looking for a Front End Technical Lead to join their fast paced team on an initial 6 month contract.
The role requires a hands-on contributor as well as providing technical leadership and support to the team(s) in order to manage and deliver successful solutions.
Designing and delivering complex cross-domain solutions encompassing a rich variety of technologies and using a mixture of agile and planned methods.
You will coordinate or lead teams of Engineers and DevOps Consultants. The teams will support our clients in their digital journey to build and manage the life cycle of platforms and products using the latest tools, technologies and frameworks to develop cutting edge solutions that help organisations succeed.

You will be a senior member of the delivery capability, capable of leading, designing and delivering solutions over many varied industries and challenges with a track record for problem solving and working outside of your normal role.
You will be primarily responsible for:
* Being a hands-on contributor as well as providing technical leadership and support to the team(s) in order to manage and deliver successful solutions.
* Designing and delivering complex cross-domain integration solutions encompassing a rich variety of technologies and using a mixture of agile and planned methods.
* Being a trusted technical advisor to customers and solving complex technical challenges, and establishing credibility and deep relationships with senior technical individuals within the customers' organization.
* Documenting and demonstrating solutions by developing documentation, reviewing and delivering code.
* Ensuring the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure.
* You will work closely with client representatives and our delivery leads to craft the best solutions for our clients.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in and a solid understanding of most of the following:
* Front End application development, covering JS frameworks and SPA and/or mobile implementations. Ideally you'll also have knowledge of more traditional MVC solutions.
* Back End application development using Node in a cloud native environment
* You should have good experience of Front End architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVC, MVI and concepts such as atomic design
* Experience with integrating to Back End services via patterns such as Backend for Frontend using RESTful or GraphQL.
* Strong knowledge of the entire software development life cycle and experience in incremental delivery of software products.
* Systems design experience, with the ability to architect or explain complex systems interactions including data flows, common interfaces, APIs and other methods, along with broad architecture skills, covering application, infrastructure, data and integration.
* The software delivery life cycle (both agile and more traditional forms),
o Including DevOps platforms and CI/CD approaches

Best practice
o Covering design, delivery and assurance with concepts such as contract led and test driven
You will be comfortable working with and influencing varied seniority levels both internally and with clients; and training and educating at all levels.
Ideally you will also be comfortable working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
