Job Description:
Within the IT department, we are looking for a senior (full stack) .NET developer for our development team that is working mainly on factory applications related to harbour planning and automation of transport flows.
As a senior developer, we expect that the candidate:
- Can contribute in application development activities in different technologies
On Back End side, a thorough knowledge is required of: - C#
- Web API
- WCF
- SQL Server and Datamodelling
- Entity framework
- Design patterns and development concepts (f.e. Domain Driven Design, MVVM, command, factory, state, composite, visitor, object builder, IOC)
On Front End side, WPF and/or knowledge of Angular can be considered as an important added value.
- Can deliver high-quality software with big attention for test automation and documentation.
- As the applications that are written in this team are often business critical and used by external users arriving in the plant (f.e. external truck drivers, contractors), it is very important to deliver very stable and high-quality applications.
- Interruptions in the availability of the applications immediately have a big impact on the operational functioning of the plant and can lead to safety issues.
- The software is also often linked with hardware components from external suppliers (f.e. cameras, weighing installations) and need to be tested on-site together with the business.
- Is a team player with good communication skills and a pro-active mindset who can also participate in discussions with the business. The candidate will be part of a small IT-team and will be involved in very interesting and challenging projects together with our business people (mainly) from our raw materials department.
Profile
As a summary, the seasoned .NET developer:
- Has very good technical skills in the technologies described above
- .NET certified
- Other technical skills:
- Able to setup a technical architecture together with the team
- Able to read the code and implement minor technical changes
- Perform code reviews
- Able to conduct a rollout independently
- Is stress resistant
- Has good social skills and is able to fluently integrate into new and existing teams
- Is a team player but can also work independently
- Has excellent communication skills (mainly in Dutch)
Location Mendonk Belgium
Taken into account the close collaboration with the business and the integration of hardware components located in the plant, it is absolutely necessary to be able to work partially on-site in Medonk Belgium with (2 days/week homework allowed).
