Description
Our client, a well known Aerospace and Defence contractor is looking for a Security Cleared Applications Development Engineer to join them on a contract basis.
- Remote working with occasional visits to their site in Yeovil
- You must hold current SC Clearance.
- £50 p/h Ltd OUTSIDE IR35
Key Accountabilities:
- Work with the business to analyse requirements.
- Understand the business requirements and translate it into solution framework/architecture.
- Obtain acceptance for all deliverables from the business.
- Provide support for migration projects as and when required.
- Deliver early life support for new solutions.
- Work with business experts and technical resources to facilitate incident & problem resolution.
- Ensure effective communication with business and project stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to internal and external standards for all solutions.
Skills/Experience:
- Ability to operate independently with limited supervision.
- The following are required skills:
SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle Forms
Microsoft Excel and VBA Macros
Desirable but not essential:
- Oracle Linux OS V7
- Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c
- Samba 4.5.1 Networking Protocol
- MS Excel 2016
- Mathematical Modelling as applied to aircraft engineering and or electronic signal processing
