Our Leading Banking Giant based in Bromley have an exciting opportunity for a C# .NET Developer to join them for a 6 month contract.
Duration: 6 months+
Location: Bromley (3 days in the office expected)
Rate: Competitive UMBRELLA rate on offer
In connection with the ongoing support and development of the Collateral business for Global Markets, we are looking for a strong Software Developer to join the technology teams in Bromley working on a range of applications for GMOT.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, enhance and support a range of critical applications built in .NET4.6+. The successful candidate will be expected to liaise with both technical and business colleagues locally in London, Bromley or Camberley and at international locations in Singapore, India, New York and Chicago. The successful candidate will work as part of a wider development team spread between London, Bromley, Camberley, Singapore and India. Current team members will provide support to enable you to familiarise yourself with the relevant functional aspects of the development role.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc)
Understanding of API design and documentation
.NET Framework 4.7+ & .NET CORE (C#)
Angular (v2+), JavaScript
ASP.NET MVC 5.0 & Web Api 2
ORM (EntityFramework/nhibernate/Dapper)
MS SQL Server 2008+, DB2
Dependency injection and frameworks, eg Unity
Practical experience with TDD and CI/CD
