Bazel Engineer

Hayward Hawk are currently recruiting for a Bazel Engineer for their Global client. This is a remote contract opportunity.
This is a long term contract and you can get exposure to several industries.
You will be maintaining the build systems for our clients customers.
The Role:
- You will implement new features and improve integration.
- Fix any issues with the system as it grows.
- Provide expertise on Bazel to development teams.
- You will ensure all products and features meet with the clients requirements and needs
- You will run tests and assessments of product prototypes and features
- Develop and deliver tools and features on Bazel
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years working experience in software engineering
- Working experience on building and maintaining large Bazel builds
- Working experience on deploying and maintaining remote caching and execution infrastructure
- Working experience on Bazel build event protocol and remote execution API
- Working experience on AWS, Docker & Kubernetes
- Must be a problem solver with excellent communication skills
- Working experience within a Large Manufacturing environment
